Shania Twain To Divorce

Shania Twain will so be back on the market after her and her husband of 14 years Robert John “Mutt” decided it was time for the two to separate.
Their rep Jason Owen released the following in a statement: “Shania Twain and her husband, music producer Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange, are separating after 14 years of marriage. This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time.”
Twain and Lange married on Dec. 28, 1993, and have worked together extensively throughout her career. The duo co-wrote all of her chart singles between 1995 and 2005 for Mercury Nashville.
The couple has a seven-year-old son, Eja D’Angelo.
Twain hasn’t released new material since a few add-on singles for her 2004 Greatest Hits compilation. But at last year’s Country Music Awards, Shania said she was doing a lot of “soul-searching” while writing material for a new album.
